Zamioculcas zamiifolia
Zamioculcas zamiifolia is an evergreen perennial with succulent, glossy, oval shaped dark green leaves. Green spathes will occasionally appear at the base of the leaves in summer followed by white fruit.
An unusual houseplant that makes a real feature in any room. With its distinctly upright habit this is an ideal plant for smaller spaces.
Prefers indirect light to full shade. Keep the soil evenly damp and water when the top of the soil feels dry to the touch, do not overwater. Mist the leaves regularly, occasionally wiping them with a damp sponge to keep the leaves glossy. Reduce watering over the winter months. Prefers warmer temperatures, no lower than 15°C in the winter, keep away from draughts. Repot every few years in spring.
Toxic if ingested, skin and eye irritant, keep out of reach of pets and children.
