Chocolate comos is a perennial version of the common summer bedding cosmos. It has red-chocolate flowers which smell of ... you've guessed it ... chocolate! Grow it in a hot sunny garden border or a pot near the patio where you ca enjoy the smell. The Chocamocha variety is more compact than the original species, so should not need supporting.
Grow chocolate cosmos in the same way as a tuberous dahlia; in cold places lift them to overwinter indoors or keep in pots to bring undercover in autumn. In well drained warmer parts of the UK you could leave them in place and mulch well.
