Acanthus mollis 'Whitewater' 3 Litres
Acanthus mollis 'Whitewater' is a variegated form of Bear's Breeches. The large deeply lobed leaves are dark green heavily splashed with white. As it is a paler version of Acanthus, it needs a little more light than the species which can stand full shade. 'Whitewater' will grow well in partial shade or sun and has a degree of drought tolerance.
The dramatic flower spikes emerge in summer with creamy-white funnel-shaped flowers with hood-like pinky bracts. The flowers can be used in a vase for a fresh or dried flower arrangement.
