Festival Cordylines produce multiple crowns, more like a grassy clump or a phormium, rather than a tradtitional cordyline. This means that they are more versatile in placing them in a garden. Great for pots or borders in fertile but well-drained soil.
Festival Burgundy forms a mound of strappy, arching rich burgundy foliage, Mature plants produce delicate white flowers on dark red stems in summer. If planted in a pot protect the roots from the cold in winter by moving somewhere sheltered or frost free and/or wrapping the pot with layers of hessian or fleece.
