Cercis canadensis 'Hearts of Gold' 7.5 Litres
Cercis 'Hearts of Gold' forms a large deciduous shrub or small multistemmed tree. This is a beautiful plant for three seasons of the year. In spring small bright pink-purple flowers cluster along the bare branches and are followed by large heart-shaped orange-red leaves. These turn bright golden-green in full sun. As the inner leaves are shaded by the outer leaves they remain darker giving a wonderful gradient of colour.
Grow Cercis 'Hearts of Gold' in fertile well-drained soil in full sun.
