Photinia 'Carre Rouge' is a compact, naturally busy, evergreen shrub with brilliant glossy red leaves when young which later turn dark green. Produces panicles of small, white flowers will in Spring.
Grows well in any soil type, prefers good drainage and will grow in sun or partial shade, the best leaf colouring will be maintained by planting in a sunny spot. Tolerant of hard pruning and shaping.
Great for hedging and makes an appearling, easily managed landscape shrub. Being smaller and with smaller leaves than those of Photinia 'Red Robin', Photinia 'Carre Rouge' is a great choice for smaller gardens.
