Laxton's Superb is a well known late dessert apple that is grown commercially in the Netherlands and the UK, and in private gardens. Purple flush and red stripes give this an old fashioned attractive appearance. Sweet and aromatic possessing certain similarities to Cox, can become biennial bearing. A good substitute for Cox’s Orange Pippin in colder exposed areas.
